Kitchen 151 is built on memory. The menu draws directly from the Moroccan and Middle Eastern kitchens where recipes are family heirlooms. We honor those centuries of tradition.
But we don't keep them under glass. We take those deep, old flavors and fuse them with a modern energy. It is a new way to taste history. The result is a meal that truly satisfies both body and mind.

How Kitchen 151 came to be
Simona El-Harar grew up in Israel in a home defined by Moroccan traditions. Her childhood kitchen was filled with the scents of her mother’s and grandmother’s cooking. That is where she learned more than just recipes. She fell in love with the simple act of feeding friends and family.
She opened Kitchen 151 in July 2012 with her partner, Tim Grosvenor. Tim is English but was born in Madagascar. He brought his own memories of spice markets and island flavors to the table. The connection was instant. When Simona cooked for him the first time, he told her they had to do something with this talent.
The result is a menu that crosses borders. The deep flavors of the Middle East and Africa meet subtle influences from across the Mediterranean. You will find notes from France, Spain, Greece, and Italy working together on the plate.
