Meet Simona El-Harar

Simona El-Harar is the chef and founder of KITCHEN 151, an iconic Mediterranean Fusion restaurant in Ixelles that she opened in 2012. Born in Israel to Moroccan parents, her childhood was naturally filled with flavors from across the Mediterranean. For her, food was never something you studied, it was simply a way of life, defined by fresh and colorful dishes served at the center of the table.

Among her many culinary ventures, Simona works as a private chef and catering manager, has authored two cookbooks, taught popular cooking classes, and starred in a documentary about her life in the kitchen.
